Installation Tip: Mounting the fork strap ring requires dropping the right-side fork leg out of the triple clamps. When choosing where to drill and mount the button template on your plastic fork guard, a general starting rule of thumb for dirt starts is roughly 100mm to 120mm down from the seal lip. For sticky, high-traction grate or concrete starts, riders often mount them deeper (around 130mm+) to really slam the front end down.
