Moose Offroad — Maximum 2-Stroke Protection, Full Linkage Guard, and Silent Performance
Protecting the belly of your small-bore 2-stroke is critical when navigating technical terrain. The Moose Racing Pro LG Skid Plate for the Beta 125 and 200 RR provides "Full Body" armor that shields your frame and engine cases from impact. Unlike basic plates, the PX1562 features an integrated linkage guard to protect the rear shock linkage from rock strikes and prevent hang-ups on logs.
Engineered from heavy-duty 8mm thick High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), this Pro LG model is significantly thicker and tougher than standard plastic plates. HDPE is the ideal material for off-road racing: it is 40% lighter than aluminum, won't rattle or vibrate, and has a slick surface that helps the bike slide over obstacles rather than getting stuck.
- Thick 8mm HDPE construction provides superior impact absorption and frame protection.
- Integrated Linkage Guard (LG) shields the rear shock clevis and bearings.
- 40% lighter than traditional aluminum plates with zero engine noise reflection.
- Designed to maintain Factory Quality fitment on Beta 125/200 RR chassis.
- Includes all necessary mounting hardware and instructions for a clean installation.
Moto-House MX Pro Tip:
The 125 and 200 RR are known for their light, flickable handling. Using an HDPE plate like the PX1562 ensures you don't add unnecessary weight while gaining professional-grade protection. Because HDPE is non-metallic, it doesn't resonate engine noise back toward the rider, allowing you to hear your 2-stroke's powerband more clearly during technical climbs.

FAQ Questions
Q) Does this plate include a guard for the exhaust pipe?
A) This plate is a "Full Body" frame and engine protector with a linkage guard. While it provides excellent protection for the bottom of the engine, it does not wrap around the front of the expansion chamber pipe.
How does HDPE compare to aluminum in rock gardens?
A) HDPE actually performs better in many off-road scenarios because it "slides" over rocks and absorbs impacts, whereas aluminum tends to dent and can "grab" the rock, halting your momentum.
