Moose Racing Carburetor Rebuild Kit 26-10022 - KTM 65 SX / 65 SXS 2013-2014
Product Description
The Moose Racing Carburetor Rebuild Kit includes all of the necessary parts to rebuild your KTM 65 SX or 65 SXS fuel system. Modern pump fuels contain ethanol that causes standard rubber carburetor components to swell, harden, and break down over time. Installing this targeted rebuild kit restores consistent fuel metering and stops fuel leakage.
Every rubber O-ring and seal in this package is constructed using Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR), a formulation specifically chosen for its chemical resistance against ethanol fuels. Where applicable, paper float bowl gaskets are upgraded to High-Performance Interface Gasket material to withstand severe engine vibration and environmental conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does this kit include main jets, pilot jets, or the jet needle?
A: No. Standard jetting sizes for KTM applications are not provided by the factory in these kits, so jet needles and pressed-in or standard main/pilot jets are not included.
Q: Why is NBR rubber used for the internal seals?
A: NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) provides chemical resistance against ethanol blends in modern pump gas, helping prevent seal expansion and fuel leaks.
Expert Pro-Tip: When servicing small-bore two-stroke carburetors, always use aerosol contact cleaner and compressed air to flush out the internal passageways and the float valve seat cavity before installing the new float needle. Any tiny debris trapped behind the new seat will cause the float bowl to overflow.
