The Moose Offroad SSPDRZ composite skid plate is designed for Kawasaki KLX and Suzuki DR-Z motorcycles from 2000-2016. It helps protect the side engine cases, water pump, frame, and center case from impacts encountered during off-road riding. The thick composite plate is molded for a close fit and increased coverage, with mounting hardware included.
The antiballistic composite material provides a longer fatigue life and greater tensile strength than aluminum. It absorbs vibration without amplifying sound, while its ability to bounce back from hard impacts helps prevent the bending and cutting issues associated with permanently deformed aluminum plates. A high front section helps limit mud buildup on the engine, and the plate is made in the USA.
