The Moose Offroad Composite Skid Plate MSP25017 is designed for Husqvarna and KTM motorcycles from 2017-2019. It protects the frame, center case, side engine cases, and water pump from impacts encountered during off-road riding. The skid plate uses antiballistic composite material for greater tensile strength and a longer fatigue life than aluminum.
The plate is molded to the exact shape required for a closer fit and increased coverage. Its composite construction absorbs vibration and does not amplify sounds like aluminum plates. A high front helps prevent mud from building up on the engine, while the included mounting hardware supports installation. The Moose Offroad MSP25017 is made in the USA.
