The Moose Offroad Carbon Fiber Skid Plate MSP45019T protects the frame, center case, side engine cases, and water pump on Gas Gas, Husqvarna, and KTM motorcycles from 2017-2023. Its antiballistic composite construction provides longer fatigue life and greater tensile strength than aluminum, while the molded shape creates a closer fit and more protective coverage.
Composite construction absorbs vibration and does not amplify sounds like aluminum plates. When subjected to hard impacts, the plate can bounce back instead of permanently deforming, helping prevent bent frame tubes and contact with the water pump. A high front design helps reduce mud buildup on the engine, and mounting hardware is included. The Moose Offroad skid plate is made in the USA.
