The Moose Offroad Carbon Fiber Skid Plate MSP25023C is designed to protect the frame, center case, side engine cases, and water pump on select Gas Gas, Husqvarna, and KTM motorcycles. Its antiballistic composite construction provides greater tensile strength and a longer fatigue life than aluminum, while the molded shape creates a closer fit around the motorcycle.
The composite material absorbs vibration and does not amplify sounds like aluminum plates. When impacted, it can bounce back from hard hits instead of permanently deforming, helping prevent bent frame tubes and contact with water pumps. A high front helps limit mud buildup on the engine, and mounting hardware is included. This skid plate is made in the USA.
