The Moose Offroad Carbon Fiber Skid Plate MSP2316W is designed for Husqvarna FE and KTM XC models from 2020-2023. It protects the frame, center case, side engine cases, and water pump while helping keep mud from building up on the engine. The antiballistic composite construction provides a close-fitting protective plate with greater tensile strength and a longer fatigue life than aluminum.
Composite construction absorbs vibration and does not amplify sounds like aluminum plates. When struck hard, the plate can bounce back rather than permanently deforming, helping prevent bent frame tubes and contact with the water pump. The plate is molded to the desired shape for a closer fit, and mounting hardware is included. Made in the USA.
