The Moose Offroad Carbon Fiber Skid Plate MSP2316 is designed for Husqvarna and KTM motorcycles from 2016-2019. It protects the side engine cases, water pump, frame, and center case from impacts encountered during off-road and motocross riding. The plate uses antiballistic composite material for increased tensile strength and a longer fatigue life than aluminum, while its molded shape provides a closer fit and more protective coverage.
Composite construction absorbs vibration and does not amplify sounds like aluminum plates. When struck hard, the plate can bounce back instead of permanently deforming, helping prevent bent frame tubes and contact with the water pump. Its high front helps limit mud buildup on the engine, and mounting hardware is included. The Moose Offroad MSP2316 is made in the USA.
