Moose Offroad — Hardened Steel Components, Upgraded Sealing Tech, and American-Made Durability
A leaking countershaft seal is more than just a mess on your garage floor; it’s a threat to your engine’s oil pressure and your rear traction. The Moose Offroad 25-4047 Countershaft Seal Kit is a professional-grade solution designed to stop leaks at the source. Engineered specifically for the Beta engine platform, this kit replaces worn-out factory components with upgraded materials that withstand the high-heat and high-friction environment of the drive system.
Unlike basic kits that only provide the rubber, Moose Offroad includes a precision-ground, hardened steel bushing. This is critical because the original bushing often develops a "groove" from dirt and debris, which will quickly tear a new seal if not replaced. Combined with an upgraded performance seal and all necessary O-rings or lock washers (where applicable), this kit restores the factory-tight seal on your Beta RR, X-Pro, or RX model. Proudly made in the USA, it is built to handle the rigors of technical enduro and high-speed motocross.
- Comprehensive Rebuild: Includes a hardened steel bushing, upgraded seal, O-ring, and lock hardware for a complete fix.
- Hardened Steel Bushing: Resists grooving and wear significantly better than standard OEM replacements.
- Upgraded Seal Design: Features advanced materials to maintain flexibility and sealing integrity under extreme heat.
- Precision Fitment: Engineered as a direct bolt-on for Beta 125cc through 520cc models from 2010 to 2025.
- Made in the USA: High-quality manufacturing for long-lasting reliability on the trail.
Moto-House MX Pro Tip:
Countershaft seals often fail because of a chain that is adjusted too tight or from debris buildup behind the sprocket cover. When installing your new 25-4047 kit, take the time to thoroughly clean the countershaft area. Apply a light coat of waterproof grease to the inner lip of the new seal and the outer surface of the hardened bushing before sliding them into place. This prevents "dry-start" friction that can damage the new rubber instantly. Also, ensure your countershaft sprocket bolt or nut is torqued to factory specifications to keep the assembly properly compressed against the O-ring seal.

FAQ Questions
Q) Why do I need a new bushing with the seal?
A) The bushing is the surface the seal rides on. Over time, grit gets trapped and grinds a groove into the metal. If you only replace the seal, the groove in the old bushing will cause the new seal to leak almost immediately.
Q) Will this fit the 2025 X-Pro models?
A) Yes, this kit is verified to fit the latest 2025 Beta RR X-Pro and Race Edition models.
