Moose Offroad Carbon Fiber Skid Plate 0506-1932 - KTM / Husqvarna / GasGas 250cc-350cc 2022-2026

Product Description

The Moose Offroad Carbon Fiber Skid Plate delivers maximum lower-chassis protection for riders navigating unforgiving off-road and motocross terrain. Custom-molded from antiballistic composite materials, this plate offers a tight, contour-matching fit that shields vital engine components without adding excessive weight.

Unlike aluminum skid plates that permanently bend, transfer chassis vibration, and resonate engine noise, this thick composite plate absorbs heavy impacts and springs back to its original shape. Featuring an elevated front section, it prevents heavy mud buildup around the engine cases to maintain proper cooling during long rides.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How does carbon composite compare to aluminum for skid plates?
A: Carbon composite absorbs impact and springs back to shape rather than denting or bending into engine components, dampens sound instead of amplifying it, and will not transfer frame vibration.

Q: Is installation hardware included with this skid plate?
A: Yes, mounting hardware is included for a quick and precise installation.

Expert Pro-Tip: Apply a light coat of silicone spray or non-stick foam to the inside face of the skid plate before installation. This keeps wet clay and deep mud from adhering to the chassis, making bike clean-up after a muddy moto significantly faster.
