Product Description

Shave critical pounds off your motorcycle chassis and improve starting performance with the BS Battery BSLi-02 Lithium Battery. Tipping the scales at a featherweight 1.2 lbs, this Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) powerhouse delivers a stout 140 Cold Cranking Amps to turn over high-compression Yamaha four-stroke singles without hesitation. Dropping rotating and static chassis mass up high transforms handling agility in deep ruts and through tight switchbacks, giving your dirt bike an immediate competitive edge.

Engineered for the demands of motocross and off-road competition, the BSLi-02 features robust brass terminals, silicone sealant protection, and a heat-resistant casing capable of withstanding temperatures up to 446°F. It features an integrated state-of-charge indicator for quick voltage checks and supports multi-position mounting up to 180 degrees without acid spill risks. With an extensive service life spanning over 2000 recharge cycles and exceptionally low self-discharge rates, your motorcycle stays ready to fire instantly after long gaps between rides.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need a special charger for this lithium battery?
A: Yes, only use a dedicated Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) smart charger that does not have an automatic desulfation mode. Never exceed the 2A maximum charge rate.

Q: Can this battery be mounted on its side in custom airboxes?
A: Yes. Because the BSLi-02 contains no liquid acid, it features multi-position mounting capabilities up to 180 degrees without leaking.

Q: What are the physical dimensions of the BSLi-02 case?
A: It measures 4-1/4 inches long, 2-3/16 inches wide, and 3-3/8 inches tall, weighing 1.2 lbs.

Expert Pro-Tip: When installing this lithium unit on a fuel-injected Yamaha four-stroke, apply a dab of dielectric grease to the solid brass terminal bolts to prevent oxidation. Always verify your bike's charging system regulator/rectifier stays between 14.0V and 14.8V at mid-RPM—excessive stator voltage can damage lithium cells, while inadequate voltage will shorten battery life.
