Here are the top five reasons why the TorqDrive Clutch Pack is the best choice for your KTM 85 SX.
1. Increased Power Transfer
The TorqDrive Clutch Pack utilizes thin friction disk technology, allowing more disks to fit within your OEM clutch's footprint. This reduces slip and effectively transfers more power from your engine to your motorcycle's rear wheel. That means better acceleration, faster lap times, and improved overall performance that you can feel.
2. Easy Installation

These little rippers, love to push their machines to the limit, frequently fanning their clutches as they tackle the track. However, this relentless clutch engagement can take a significant toll on vital components, shortening your bike's clutch life.

In 2019, we found that our YZ250F required clutch replacements every two to three months due to the rider's prior 2-stroke riding style. However, after switching to the Rekluse TorqDrive and coaching the rider to use the clutch less (as the bike is a 4-stroke), we were able to significantly improve the longevity of the clutch. This improvement was so significant, in fact, that the clutch in our YZ450F (which also uses TorqDrive) has lasted over a year and is still going strong. While you may not experience the same year-and-a-half lifespan of your clutch as we did, you can expect to see positive improvements in both performance and longevity.
