The new Suzuki RM85 VForce4Ri outperforms standard reed cage systems, primarily due to the dual V-shaped cage configuration that doubles the available reed surface area. This increased reed surface area allows more air flow, as the reeds require less travel to open and close. The v-shaped cages also feature rubber pads for reed tips, increasing reed life. Carbon fiber reed pedals are lightweight and more robust than fiber reeds, while the new intake boot offers a straighter shot, leading to improved airflow and performance.
