The 2025 Pro Motocross season launched in Pala, California, with an action-packed opener at Fox Raceway. With deep ruts and brutal lines, riders were tested early, and the results delivered in every class—450, 250, and WMX.
450 Class
Jett Lawrence returned from injury and didn’t miss a beat. The HRC Honda rider swept both motos (1-1), extending his unbeaten record at Fox Raceway and reminding the field who’s boss. Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Eli Tomac (4-2) made a statement with a strong second overall, pushing Jett hard in Moto 2. Rounding out the podium was Jett’s brother, Hunter Lawrence (3-4), who showed speed and consistency aboard his HRC Honda machine.

250 Class
Haiden Deegan picked up where he left off, dominating the 250 class with a perfect 1-1 day for Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing. Behind him, Jo Shimoda (2-2) rode solidly for HRC Honda, while Red Bull KTM’s Tom Vialle (4-3) earned a well-fought third overall after some strong late charges.

WMX – Women’s Pro Motocross
Kicking off their season a day earlier on Friday, the WMX class put on a show. Mikayla Nielsen went 2-1 for the overall win on one of her home tracks, riding for SLR Honda. Lachlan Turner (1-3) held her ground for second aboard her Blu Cru Yamaha, and Jordan Jarvis (4-2) battled hard to take third overall.
