Witness Tomorrow’s Motocross Champions: YZ bLU cRU SuperFinale at the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations
It's official — The YZ bLU cRU SuperFinale will officially be takin place Saturday, October 5th at the iconic Matterly Basin. This event serves as the grand conclusion to a season of intense racing throughout Europe, featuring Yamaha’s YZ125, YZ85, and YZ65 bLU cRU FIM Europe Cups. Throughout the season, young riders have accumulated points, which now allows the top 40 in each class to qualify to race at Matterley Basin during the highly anticipated Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations.
According to Yamaha Racing, the 2024 season has already set new records, with 754 riders between the ages of 8 and 16 from 29 different countries registering—marking a 40% increase over 2023. For the first time, Yamaha will host a truly global lineup, welcoming competitors from the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, and Brazil to go head-to-head with Europe’s best in the SuperFinale. Additionally, Yamaha is pleased to announce a continuous rise in female participants each year.
Yamaha’s acclaimed bLU cRU program lays the groundwork for the Yamaha Racing structure and is specifically designed to foster young talent in both road and off-road disciplines. It offers a structured environment with coaching, technical assistance, and guidance from top industry professionals, supporting and shaping future champions. This initiative also ensures a seamless progression from national to world championship levels, with over 600 young riders benefiting from the program in 2023.
Interested in watching this race go down? All three races will be live streamed for the first time on the Yamaha Racing YouTube channel. The YZ65 and YZ85 races will take place on Saturday October 5th at 9:10 EST and 9:45 EST. The YZ125 race will start at 05:20 EST on Sunday October 6th.
