Hot Rods Compleate Bottom End Rebuild - Honda TRX350 Rancher 4X2 or 4X4

There are thousands of Honda TRX350 Ranchers out there that are still in great shape. They may be 16-20 years old and have many hours on them, but they are a well built ATV. If they have been taken care of and not abused, they can be freshened up. They can have a second life for another 10 years or more.

These ATVs were made for about 6 years. 2000-2006 Honda TRX350 Rancher TE ES 4x2, 2000-2006 Honda TRX350 Rancher FE ES 4x4, 2000-2006 Honda TRX350 Rancher TM, 2000-2006 Honda TRX350FM Rancher 4x4

Moto-House MX is currently rebuilding a 2004 Honda TRX350 Rancher and it was burning oil badly as well as the connecting rod was badly scored. Check out how it’s coming along at the bottom of this blog. We also used a Hot Rods Bottom end rebuild kit. When this ATV came into our shop, it was extremely low on oil, but surprisingly ran OK. The low oils is what caused the piston to score and the wrist pin to be literally seized into the small end of the crankshaft. When we tried to remove the piston pin, the piston pin removing tool almost broke -- that's how seized it was in the connecting rod! We're not done yet it has not gone back into the frame of the ATV, but here's a few pictures of how far we've gone so far. We will also be installing a new clutch, but that won't be in for a few days.
